Overview

Carefugees was established in 2013 by Azra Banu, Amin Rahman and Wajahat Meenai. Run by a group of 15 friends who volunteer to work with one of the most marginalised groups of people living in poverty, its mission is to help each person and family create a new and brighter future for themselves.

Carefugees works with various refugee communities including Afghans, Myanmar Christian Chins, Pakistani Christians, Palestinians, Rohingyas, Somalis, Sudanese, Syrians and Yemenis. The organization strives to provide food, education and livelihood support for these communities.
